Happiness Is… Acquiring A Puss

I’ve been in the depths of despair since finishing the very last Harry Potter book.

I’ve been so depressed, in fact, that the only thing I can think of doing to cheer myself up is to get a cat.

So I will.

Ah. That’s better!

(Oh, alright, I haven’t got it yet, but watch this space.)

Strangely enough I saw Minty yesterday. Yes, I still browse that website! But getting a cat from Bath might be a bit too far to go…

And I thought you wanted a rabbit 🙂

I do want a rabbit! But they chew, and I have too many cables in my flat.

Amusingly, I contacted my local animal rescue charity earlier this week and said, “If you get a rabbit with no teeth, let me know!” I was joking, but the nice lady there told me they’d *just* rehomed a gnasher-less bunny! So they do pop up!

And then I realised I could get a cat, so it’s sayonara rabbit.

Ooooh I sooooo want a cat! V jealous Jayne. Damn rented living in top-floor flats… Grrr! (Plus not earning enough to support myself let alone a furry puss cat) xx

Cats are the best comfort in the world. I’ve never regretted getting mine. And as an added bonus, they’re a sure and certain defence against hubris. No matter how great you become, cats will always remind you that they’re superior.

Yay, cats are wonderful creatures. I’m getting one myself soon as I move . . . lots of journos, esp freelancers, seem to have them!

I have a moggy sprawled across my legs as I type this – she’s very cute and I can almost forgive her for covering the kitchen in feathers when she dragged a bird in the other night … 🙂

I wonder what a toothless rabbit eats.. Would you have to puree everything for it, or would it just suck lettuce?

Good luck with the cat – adorable creatures for all their little foibles.

I got woken up by 3 of mine at 3am this morning. Soaking wet and wanting fuss. Little buggers…

Having said that: You’ve got to get a puss. Gingers are usually very affectionate 🙂
