Bunny Girl

See this bunny? See how happy and bouncy he is? I’ve been like this all week. Sleep aside, I don’t think I’ve gone more than an hour without giggling like a loon at something-or-other, whether at home or at work. I’ve been like The Joker. On laughing gas. With somebody telling me a drop-dead hilarious joke, while simultaneously tickling my funny bone.

It’s been… noisy.

There have been lows (such as missing the first press screening of Casino Royale because I had to work late), but mostly this week has been all about the highs. Just tonight, for instance, I laughed so hard at an email sent to me by a friend that I actually fell off my chair. Then I laughed about the fact I fell off my chair. Then I watched the latest episode of Torchwood (“Cyberwoman”), which finally sold me on the show because I really wasn’t sure until now, and it made me howl (at the Wife Swap moment). And I’m just about to watch the latest episode of Heroes, which means more merriment is imminent.

Even the phrase “merriment is imminent” just made me giggle.

See that bunny? That’s me, that is. Wheeee!

It was the barbecue sauce moment in Torchwood that had me laughing my head off … 🙂

The only thing that could possibly trump Daleks vs Cybermen was a Cyberwoman vs a Dinosaur!

Congratulation for being fabulously bouncy, milady! Continue the good work, and I promise not to mention the fact that I couldn’t believe the latest Torchwood episode was quite as bad as it was…
(It was the Cyber-booties with the charming heels that did it for me…)

Damn. I didn’t just say that out loud, did I?

Torchwood was fab though not sure about the cyber-bikini but maybe thats a girl thing.

I hope some of your jovialness is down to the Wanking Rabbit? oh sorry how much does that read like you’ve been in Ann summers! hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Hey Saxon! How strange, I was reading your blog just before coming here! It’s so funny how the latest Torchwood has divided everybody – I really enjoyed it, but I’m still not 100% convinced by the show itself. The Cyber-booties did make me laugh like a drain, however!

And I feel I should point out that Anny is referring to a birthday present she gave me at the weekend – a metal rabbit that looks very, very rude from certain angles. It’s the scariest thing I’ve ever seen… and no, it didn’t come from Ann Summers!

I want to love Torchwood. Really I do.

But at the moment (even after the Cyberwoman), I’m still just going: Eh, I like it well enough. I’ll watch it and it’s got my attention for another few episodes.

But that’s just ‘cos I like that kind of show. There’s nothing essential about it yet.

    There’s the potential though.

I’ve just finished watching ep 7 of Jericho, where it suddenly went all Stephen King on our collective ass and suddenly, suddenly the potential has crystallised and I’m gonna be there for the rest of the season.

    Torchwood? Still waiting.
